Shipping Policy

Dispatch

We endeavour to process and dispatch all orders within 1-3 business days from the order being placed.

Orders are sent through our delivery partner Australia Post, via their Standard Parcel Post service.

Typical Delivery Times

    Following dispatch, estimated delivery times are:

    • New South Wales: 2 – 5 business days
    • Interstate: 3 - 6 business days

    Please note that these times are indicative only. During busy periods, please allow extra time for processing and delivery of items.

    Domestic Shipping Costs

    We offer free shipping on all domestic orders over $100. Shipping for orders under $100 is calculated at checkout.

    International Shipping

    If you wish to make a purchase, please contact us at info@etymology.au for more information and to make arrangements. We offer shipping on most international orders. Pricing is subject to the parcel’s weight and zone it's travelling to.

    Please note that there may be import taxes and/or customs duties on your order and that you will be responsible for paying them to release your order from customs upon arrival.

    Tracking your Order

    A confirmation email will be sent once the order has been dispatched, including a tracking number. Please note that you may not see any tracking updates until 24 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation email.

    Authority to Leave

    Please ensure someone will be present to sign for your delivery withing business hours as parcels will not be left unattended without a signature.

    If there is no one there to accept the parcel, it will be taken to the nearest Post Office or a 24/7 Parcel Locker. Australia Post will notify you of the collection details by email, SMS, the AustPost app or leaving a card.

    Returned to Sender

    Please note, that if collection or re-delivery of the parcel is not organised within 5 days of the attempted delivery, then it will be returned to us.

    Should you find that your parcel has been Returned to Sender please contact us at info@etymology.au and provide your order number, tracking number and indicate if you prefer to have this redelivered to the same address or an alternative address.
